Team Member Bio
I am a PhD student with a focus on Teacher resilience, Indigenous, Community, Intergenerational knowledge, and Nature-based education. I am also a certified forest and nature-based therapy walk guide, bringing contemplative practices into my work. Academic and teaching background: I have a background in experiential education and nature-based learning in Vietnam and the U.S., where I’ve designed and facilitated programs for families, schools, and communities. Why I’m involved in this grant: I’m excited to be part of TSO because it aligns with my research interests and my commitment to supporting teachers in bringing science outdoors in equitable, creative, and community-rooted ways. Favorite urban plant or animal: The otter and the cedar – both remind me of playfulness, resilience, and deep-rooted connection to water and land.
